ages of 1 and 3 depending
on their individual need and maturity. Their first visit to the office
will simply be a “Happy
Visit.” We use this time to sit in the dental chair and demonstrate
how it works. We also let them play with a dental mirror, toothbrush,
etc. The
primary goal of this visit is for them to have a positive experience and
eliminate any fear. We will use this time to review home care with
the parents in order for the parents to help the child at home with care
and instruction.
