Dental
Implants are the standard of care to replace a missing tooth.
“anchor” is
placed and then allowed to healed for a period of time (generally 2-6 months). Once
the healing is deemed complete we begin the process to replace the tooth. A “post” is
placed onto the “anchor” and then a crown (also called a cap)
is made to fit over the post.
