Every examination includes an oral cancer screening.  Dr. Luchtefeld will evaluate the intra-oral tissues as well as testing muscles, gum tissue, and lymph nodes for unusual areas.  If he determines that there is anything suspicious on his visual examination, further testing will be recommended.

If found early, Oral Cancer can be treated rather easily, however, if it is left untreated the result can be fatal.
